What We Offer

With over 70 years of combined experience, we will work alongside you to create a comprehensive and cohesive strategy that targets whatever you seek to achieve, whether it’s correcting challenges in your block, increasing crop yield, balancing your soils, improving your overall plant health, or simply getting some help.

One-On-One Consulting

On-site consultation and assessment.

Our first step is to get our boots on the ground and walk through your block with you to see what you’re looking to achieve with us.

Next, we’ll have your soil tested. By following the Albrecht-Kinsey system of soil fertility and working with the world-leading Perry Agricultural Laboratory, we’re able to help build up your soil to give your crop the best foundation possible.

This allows us to give recommendations that form the platform for tailored nutrition and pest management programs!

Targeted Testing

Throughout the season, we collect foliar and soil samples from vineyards, orchards and fields. This allows us to assess the nutritional requirements for optimal plant health.

Once we have your reports ready, we’ll then sit down with you and go through them, looking at how you can get the best results for the best value.

Giving you a detailed, tailored nutrition program in response.

Soil

Soil samples are collected and sent to internationally renowned Perry Labs in Missouri. We have international training in the Kinsey Albrecht system for balancing the soils for optimal biological health.

We help break down the reports, giving you a thorough explanation of what’s happening in your soil. We then work with Golden Bay Dolomite to source and mix the highest-quality dry fertiliser to specifically target whatever issues your soil may be facing.

Foliar

Foliar nutrition allows us to feed the plant the nutrition it requires and use the latest technology to help stimulate the plant’s defence systems against biotic and abiotic stress.

These formulations can influence all aspects of plant growth and have carefully balanced nutritional value for each plant phase or seasonal condition. The art is in fine-tuning the timing and combinations that give our clients the desired results in terms of quality and quantity.

We’ve partnered with Sustainable Agro Solutions (SAS), one of Europe’s leading sustainable farming systems companies.

Disease & Pest Management

Trunk diseases such as Eutypa and Botryosphaeria are now rampant in New Zealand vineyards. Our extensive trial work suggests this is due to years of overworking our soils with harsh nitrate-heavy fertilisers and the improper use of chemical products.

This increased pressure, along with market compliance, can be intimidating; let our experience in winemaking compliance, vineyard and crop management, and thorough trial work help you make the hard decisions.

We can help you reduce your chemical usage, increase product efficacy, crop yield and even lower costs at the same time!
